The Soprintendenza Archeologica of Rome gives life to Colosseumweb – a telematic and multimedia system of protection and valorization of the Flavius amphitheater – with the following objectives:

• to spread throughout the world a deep knowledge of the colosseum and the archeological heritage of Rome;
  
  
• to give to lovers and students of Roman history a clear and secure point of reference, documented and scientifically reliable;
  
  
• to implement with a new economical program capable of generating interesting incomes to reuse for preservation and restoring initiatives.
